Webinar Overview: 

This session briefly outlines the origins of theory of change, its purpose, and wide variety of uses. The main message is to show that theory of change as a tool, is instrumental in helping evaluators, intervention managers, and wider stakeholders, understand how change happens. In turn this contributes to better targeted and shaped interventions, and ultimately improved practice. 

The session focuses on the behavioural model of Theory of Change, and provides tips/ suggestions for participants to take away and use in their own work.


Presenter Biography: 

Bridget Dillon is Head of Evaluation Profession at the Department for International Development, UK Government (DFID). She has worked with International NGOs, and both bi-lateral and multi-lateral agencies in Africa, Asia and Brazil. She has commissioned, undertaken and quality assured a wide range of evaluations. A particular interest is theory of change in evaluation.
