Monday 30th June 2025, 10.30am to 3.30pm, Online (via Zoom)

You are warmly invited to attend CECAN’s annual conference, ‘New Government, New Approach to Evaluation?’ on Monday 30th June 2025.

During the day, we will reflect on how the practice of the evaluation of public policy has changed, and how it should change over the next few years.

Join practitioners and academics online to hear about the latest ideas about the evaluation of public policy, its importance and how it is being embedded into the heart of government.

In the morning sessions, we’ll hear from Whitehall and a government agency about current practice and how it is developing and then move on in the afternoon with perspectives from an evaluation practitioner and from parliament.

Concluding comments will come from CECAN’s Director, Professor Nigel Gilbert.
